Indigenous organizations have attempted to contact SLCPD and have a open discussion about MMIWG in Salt Lake City, but there has been no responses except their initial press release that contest the data presented. We would like to address this silence by having a candlelight vigil at their front door. Our missing and murdered have been ignored long enough and we can't allow this silence to continue.
MMIW+ of Utah, along with many other organizations, are planning on coming together to show SLCPD our love ones, who no longer can speak for themselves, will no longer be ignored. We invite you to stand in solidarity for this hour
