The PANDOS 2020 Defend the Sacred Pow Wow. This year including a Miss PANDOS Pageant!,  A Kids Day, also a Kids craft tent.  MMIW Women's Traditional Special.

Kids day- teach elementary students on protocol on pow wow ethic and the meaning of the different regalia for the dances performed, introduce the students to different crafts, games and the 5 tribes that live in Utah.

Honoring Veterans- This special is sponsored by Arnie and Lisa Lano, to honor past, present and future warriors with a blessing and honor songs.

Tiny Tots Specials- Tiny Tots specials are to honor 5 years and under, up coming future dancers, Singers and drummers to keep the culture and traditions alive for the next generations. We would like to thank Tiny Tots sponsors - Friday 1st session: Eagle Feather Trading Post. Saturday early 2nd session: The Arlington Family. Saturday 3rd session: Native American Trading Post.



2018 2nd Annual PANDOS Defend the Sacred Pow Wow

  With the 2018 PANDOS 2nd Annual "Defend the Sacred" Pow wow in the books.  Our Master of Ceremonies- Eric Watchman (Dine), Arena Director- Dave John (Tewa/ Dine), Spiritual Advisor- Butch Russell (Chemehuevi/ Yavapai/ Apache), Head Man- Robert Barbone (Dine), Head Lady- Tashina Barber (Dine).  With the weather holding out this year we got through all 3 sessions, we had a good turn out with the Native and non-Native community coming together to enjoy the songs, dances and food.
 On Friday we had the honor of Mayor Debbie Winn come and welcome the attendees to her city, she also handed out the gifts to the Tiny Tots (future dancers, singers under 6 yrs old).
  On Saturday we had a lot of specials which included Head Man Special, Head Lady Special, Honoring the Veterans and the PANDOS Missing & Murdered Indigenous Women Special, Which we are bringing awareness to this issues, This year we had Men's Traditional as the 
category to honor them by wearing a red regalia.  Jennifer Boyce (MMIW + Relatives Committee Chair) spoke on this issue.
